We almost had it caught up and they upped the interest rate twice, increasing the monthly payment, that plus the late fees keep piling up. We wound up two months behind. I sent this months’ payment in plus an extra $100, but they still haven’t applied it to my mortgage. What do I do? And if they are starting the preforeclosure things will they refuse my monthly payment? BTW, I live in Florida. I don’t want to lose our house. If we can just work out the two back payments and slack off on the late fees, we can make the mortgage payment ok.

I dont. It seems to me that the politicians are intent on making it look like they are addressing the problem while totally avoiding discussing all the real major reasons people are struggling at record levels to pay for their homes.

Disclosures today have shown the so called populist Obama, and his un truthful rival have taken hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from sub prime lenders!!

Since Obama and Clinton have been railing on the sub primel loans given out to un qualified loan applicants and the banks they claim were one of the main reasons for all the home foreclosures does that make them hypocrites again?
Aw, who cares..It takes a lot of money to finance a campaign!!
